Cereal Box Challenge Success!

South Grove was full of "action" this week as our Student Council wrapped up the Cereal Box Challenge! Our amazing students and families showed up in a big way, proving that when it comes to helping our community, we truly have "All Paws In."

We are so proud to announce that we collected a total of 242 boxes for Long Island Cares! Building on the success of our Thanksgiving Food Drive, our students demonstrated incredible empathy and kindness. The excitement reached a fever pitch in the gymnasium as we lined up the boxes for a massive domino run. With the whole school counting down, we watched as a single tip started a spectacular chain reaction—a perfect visual of how one small act of kindness can spread throughout a community.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated a box and helped us "topple hunger." Our South Grove superstars continue to shine, proving that "Lights, Camera, Learn" is about much more than just what happens in the classroom—it’s about the heart we show to our neighbors!
